When I first started shopping for shoes, 3RRC was all I'd hear about. This store was local and the people I knew who ran recommended it. I lived in a small town (Albion) and you just go where people recommend. Once I got here, it became MY STORE and that was it. I'll stick with it forever.

Without shoes from 3RRC, I'd have a lot more aches and pains. I'm getting older, and aches and pains appear a lot more frequently than they used to. These shoes keep my arches and ankles supported. Recently, good quality shoes help keep my hip pain at bay. Old age is way far away and gets further away the more I move!

The employees from when I started shopping at 3RRC until today are very supportive. You don't have to be an elite runner or super competitive. If you have a goal you need to reach, you're going to get the support and service you need. Whether your goals are walking or running, they'll find whatever works best for you.

I've been running for 15-16 years, primarily to get into better shape. I was getting to that time in my life where I felt like I needed to do more and be more active. I was completely clueless. I knew no runners in Fort Wayne. I knew nothing about Three Rivers Running Company except that it was the premier running shoe store in Fort Wayne. I was intimidated and scared because I didn't know what I was doing. Fortunately, I was able to experience the expertise of the staff. I worked with someone on staff who became my go-to guy. He was so welcoming and kind and provided me so much information to get me started.

I'm not an elite runner by any means; I'm just a regular person who wants to run, enjoys the running community, and all the friends I've made. The people who come to 3RRC aren't just elite runners. They're coming here because of their careers, and they need the best shoe possible.

You have everything you need here. The pricing is affordable, and the expertise of the staff is incomparable. It's where I started, it's where I'm comfortable. I'm always taken care of with great service. Being a part of the Three Rivers Community Team is important to me, so I'll continue to support this store as long as I can. I love that the store supports the music industry. Brad (Altevogt) brings in artists to play at the Baker Street venue. Its just another way the store supports Fort Wayne.

It doesn't matter if you're just getting started or you've been a runner for a long time. This store is where you're going to get the best service, the best advice. The experts are here; it doesn't matter who is working. If you walk in the door, you're going to be taken care of, and you're going to leave happy.

Kelly McConnell Douthett - Podiatrist

I picked up running to stay in shape after I finished playing soccer in college. I'm running my first Boston Marathon in April. I run to meet people, have fun, and stay in shape. I enjoy it, I love being outside. If I don't have outside time, its not good for my mental health.

Having a few pairs of shoes to rotate is important for your body. I wore the Nike AlphaFly for my most recent marathon. They really play a role in fatigue prevention once you get to Mile 18. I think finding a shoe that can support longer distances will really give you more spring in your step.

I think its important to support small businesses and local businesses. I find that typically, people who work here are more invested in people in the community, whether they're walkers or elite runners. I feel like they give people more time and care about what you're looking for than other big stores.

Stop in and support a local business. If you've had a bad experience elsewhere with trying on shoes or finding something you like, 3RRC is the place to come. You'll get more personalized care and service. The selection is great!

I've shopped at 3RRC at all of its locations since my freshman year of high school in 2005. Currently, I use the shoes for running, yardwork, camping, hiking, work, and anything else I need. I walk a ton at work. It's a quarter of a mile across the building, and my office is in the middle. I average 13,000 steps a day at work.

I've learned from 3RRC that you shouldn't pick your shoes based on the color and the way they look. It turns out, the fit matters. Most places don't know much about running or foot health - they're just salesmen. Shopping local is important to me. 3RRC is ingrained in the running community. Staff know a lot of people. I feel like if I talk to them about anything, they know what I'm talking about.

3RRC is more than a running store. There are comfortable shoes to support your whole life. There are hiking shoes and recovery slides. Its not just race-day carbon plated shoes. There's a wide range of options, even ones for nursing! If you struggle with injuries, the 3RRC staff has a lot of knowledge about what options work. 3RRC does visual analysis to see if you're pronating or supinating and then finds you a shoe.

Haylee Shirkey - Project Manager

Running is our hobby. Were always out and about, whether it's on the trails up at Chain O'Lakes or doing running camps here in Fort Wayne.

At first, 3RRC was a place to buy running shoes that understood what my needs were. At other stores, you don't always get the customized experience you get here. And then I got into trail running, so I needed shoes and other gear to support that. And then I needed running clothes. This store is an easy gift card win! I've also done the run clubs and events that 3RRC sponsors. Its been great coming back from both my pregnancies post-partum, knowing that other moms out there have done it. Navigating that and knowing there is a group of people to support me here has been great.

Its easy to come to 3RRC. You don't feel bombarded when you walk in the door. It just feels very normal; there's no pressure to buy things.

Something that 3RRC does very well is the group runs, making them very accessible, from people who've never run a day in their life to someone who's run the Boston Marathon or run in college. They try to cater to everyone, and they do it in a very strategic way where no one feels left out. They meet you where you're at.

Shopping here has made me feel like an athlete.

I started shopping at 3RRC 19 years ago after suffering from an injury from running in the wrong shoes. I found out that 3RRC offers free gait analysis and would find the proper running shoe for me. I have been a customer ever since!

The 3RRC staff are fellow runners who are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell.

I am not just a runner but also health care provider. I spend many hours on my feet and know that proper footwear is a must. Whether you are a serious runner, a new runner or someone on your feet all day, 3RRC will make sure you are in the proper shoe for you!

And if those arent enough reasons, 3RRC is locally owned and operated. I am proud to support a local business.

I began shopping at 3RRC almost 20 years ago. I was running a lot and getting injured and my podiatrist recommended them. He was right. They helped me find the right shoes and gear. I have stayed with them ever since.

Since I retired and am doing more waking than running they have continued to help me find the right shoes, gear, and apparel. They are locally owned and support many events and people in our own community. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I would encourage any walker/runner to visit 3RRC to have a gait analysis performed so they can be fitted with the correct shoes. 3RRC also carries a great selection on shoes and colors. If they don't have it in the store they can find it for you!

3RRC has always been my destination for my footwear for running and working and play. They came highly recommended.
